The project is part of the large-scale construction project "Rehabilitation of the railway line Plovdiv - Burgas, Phase 2", part of the Trans-European Transport Corridor VIII. With its implementation, the signaling in 18 stations will be renewed, a new system for dispatching train traffic control and systems for video surveillance, a new ETCS train protection system located on the 271 km long Manole - Burgas section, a rolling stock monitoring system, telecommunication equipment on the 293 km long Plovdiv - Burgas section, passenger information devices and a train communication system GSM-R will be installed. Rehabilitation of signaling premises in 15 stations, premises for telecommunications in 31 stations, premises of dispatchers and duty managers in 19 stations, as well as construction of new technical premises for signaling in 4 stations and for telecommunications in 7 stations are planned.
