The project is part of the program for the restoration and renovation of public spaces in the downtown of the city of Sofia - Zone 2, financed under the Operational Programme "Regions in Growth" 2014-2020. It covers the renewal of 34,000 square meters of pavement and the renovation of the Graf Ignatiev Street with the Giuseppe Garibaldi, P. R. Slaveykov and Sv. Patriarh Evtimiy squares, as well as sections of the streets Solunska, 6th September, Gen. Parensov, Tsar Shishman and the garden in front of the church Sveti Sedmochislenitsi . 1.22 km of rail track and the accompanying contact and cable network along the street were also completely replaced.
