The metro station is part of the M2 line. The project includes the construction of a two-way metro tunnel and one underground station. The construction of the major part of the metro line was carried out according to the New Austrian Tunneling Method and is 171.2 m long, 18.8 m wide, with a maximum depth from the ground of 13.26 m. It has two vestibules with side platforms, 105 meters long and 4.8 meters wide. There are 6 entrances, 6 escalators and 7 elevators, covering two major intersections of the capital - Cherni Vrah Boulevard and Srebarna Street and Cherni Vrah Boulevard and Todor Kableshkov Boulevard.
